Three lovely mushrooms! I'm not sure if real mushrooms would have branches like that of the middle one in this picture, but I do have a reason for that: take a look at this photo, which inspired me to paint this picture. One day a colleague of mine showed me her childhood photos and I thought they could make some nice pictures. She and her siblings are now all grown up, working or studying at university...
