This page shows you a review image of the last Venus Transit in 21st century observed on Jun 6, 2012. In Japan, we could observe all progress of the rare sky event from morning to afternoon, blessed with extraordinary good condition. But it was bad weather condition around my residense, I went on an expedition far about 400km (250 miles). Luckily I could observe about 80% of the progress including individual contacts of the rims of Sun and Venus. Upper images have captured the second contact, center of transit, and the third contact, respectively.
Other various images of the Venus Transit have been displayed from next page.
