The comet Hartlay2 in that day has been positioned in northern Puppis, about 12 degrees east of Sirius. The comet has a coma with about 7th magnitude in brightness and an indistinct dust tail in west direction. Comet Hartlay2 will become darker and darker from now on, but we can observe it in winster constellations for a short while.
